This charger brings batteries to a full charge (14.5V for 12V mode), and then the green 100% charge level LED goes solid green. Currently, the NOCO charger/maintainer stops applying a charge to the battery, letting its voltage drop naturally.

When the battery drops below resting voltage (12.7V), the charger kicks back in automatically to top off the battery, and while it is actively topping the battery, the green 100% charge level LED flashes. Then it goes solid again when the battery is fully charged, and the cycle continues.
 
NOCO's battery chargers/maintainers can remain connected to your battery indefinitely. They will monitor battery activity and only begin charging when needed without user intervention.

Fully-sealed and waterproof onboard battery charger with an ingress protection rating of IP68. A product with an IP68 rating is fully dust tight and is completely protected against solid objects. It is also protected against long periods of water immersion at a depth of over 1 meter.
