EMISSIONS

Kits 7680 and 7682 are legal for sale or use on Emissions Controlled Vehicles, Uncontrolled (Non-Emissions Controlled) Vehicles, and Racing Use Only Vehicles because they do not affect vehicle emissions and are  not covered by emissions regulations. The kits7680 and 7682 are designed for most cars and trucks for motorsports and performance vehicles.

NOTICE

Check the hoses to be sure they are connected correctly. The hose you connected to the "in" port on the engine bypass adapter must also be connected to the port marked "out" on the oil filter mounting bracket and the "out" port on the engine bypass adapter must be installed on the "in" port on the oil filter mounting bracket. Hoses connected to by-pass adapter ports marked “in” and “out” must correspond to the same “in” and “out” ports on the remote oil filter mounting bracket for proper oil circulation.

Make sure “in” on the remote mount connects to “out” on the engine adapter and the “out” connects to the “in” on the engine adapter. The items on the drawings may differ from the actual kit.

Keep hoses as short as possible when routing. The hoses must not kink, crimp, and avoid contact with the hot exhaust or sharp surfaces, otherwise, damage to the hose or engine will result. To avoid oil flow restrictions maintain a minimum radius of 3-1/2".
